I’m a 75‑year‑old woman. I use drops for eye pressure, and recently I also had cataract surgery.I was suffering with extremely itchy, uncomfortable, irritated eyes for eight to ten months. It was very hard to tolerate and my mood became very low. I felt unhappy all the time.I saw GPs and family doctors. They prescribed ointments and drops but none of them worked. I even saw specialists. They told me to use warm compresses, but the problem never really improved.I’m quite sensitive to medications. Some of the ointments caused such bad reactions that I almost had to go to the emergency department. I live alone, my husband has passed away, and my daughter has her own family and work.
