My chemist told me they'd stopped stocking Nutravision and tried to push me onto a cheaper one, saying it's basically the same, which honestly annoyed me. It is not the same thing. They were very honest and said once a cataract forms, no supplement can remove the cloudy lens. If it gets bad enough, surgery is the only proven way to remove it.But they also explained that Nutravision can still support ageing eyes and overall eye health.So many brands will tell you whatever you want to hear just to make a sale. I found out I had normal tension glaucoma in 2024 and had already lost around 19% of the vision in my right eye. Then in 2025, things got worse. More dark patches started showing up in my visual field test even though my eye pressure was sitting in the normal range.That was the part I couldn’t understand.My doctor told me to keep using the eye drops, which I did. But why is my vision still getting worse even my eye pressure is under control.

My 67 yrs old mum has glaucoma and amd, so eye supplements have been a whole thing in our house.

She also tried one of the AREDS2 ones and it messed with her stomach. Pretty sure it was the zinc, because once we started looking around, a lot of people seem to have the same issue with zinc. When we found out Eye Pro+ is zinc free, that was a big thing for us.
